NH Catania Centro

Reception staff are really exceptional. Efficient, friendly and engaging. We stayed for two nights, 4 days apart. Two different reception teams, both with the same approach. If only the other hotels on this trip had had the same standards. Rooms are comfortable and spotless. We got two excellent nights' sleep. Excellent wifi. Hotel is in a great location, on Piazza Trento. The airport bus stop is almost at the hotel door, just mention to the driver where you want to get off. The bus runs on a loop, back to the airport, so same stop for the return. Bus to station too from the piazza. A short walk to Via Etnea. We had a delicious meal at Il Pozzo, close by. Bar Trento diagonally across the piazza is very good for pastries and coffee. We will definitely be back and have no hesitation recommending NH.

Staff were fabulous. We had an issue with the air conditioning in our room (it wasn’t functioning). And they moved us to another, bigger room immediately. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast also great—tons of choices and regularly refreshed. Two coffee machines! Centrally located.

The hotel was clean and refurbished. Very comfortable stay! Very friendly staff! Micol at the front desk was amazing! Young and exceptional at her job. There is a parking very close to the property which was also very professional. About a 15 minute walk to the centre which didn’t bother us since the hotel was so wonderful!

The rooms were very comfortable, updated, nice shower, several elevators, and seems they are making even more improvements by 2026.

I enjoyed my stay, especially the breakfast buffet! The location is easy to reach from the airport by ALIBUS and it's a short (10-30min) walk to most tourist attractions. Staff was kind and helpful. Rooms are clean and modern.
